From first launch to Google Drive in Finder.

No documentation maze. Follow five native steps, then work with your cloud files where you already work—with Finder and your Mac apps.

Step 1 of 5

Get Harbor

Request beta access, download the approved build, and move Harbor to Applications.

There is no public package yet; beta invitations include the current build.
Step 2 of 5

Add Google Drive

Open Harbor and choose Add Account. Google Drive is the provider available in the current beta.

Each Google account becomes its own Finder location.
Step 3 of 5

Complete Google sign-in

Continue in the secure browser window and approve the access Harbor needs to operate your Drive.

OAuth credentials are stored in macOS Keychain.
Step 4 of 5

Connect the account

Return to Harbor and choose Connect. When setup finishes, Harbor confirms that the Finder location is ready.

Already connected? Harbor refreshes sign-in without replacing the location.
Step 5 of 5

Open your drive in Finder

Choose Open in Finder. Cloud-only files remain visible; opening one downloads it on demand.

Keep Harbor running so uploads and remote changes continue syncing.

You are ready to work in Finder.

Open, create, rename, move, and trash files normally. Harbor keeps transfer details in Activity when you need to look closer.
